ARTICLE I. NAME
The name of this corporation is the U.S. Marine Corps AIRCRAFT FIREFIGHTING AND
RESCUE ASSOCIATION, hereinafter referred to as AFFR.
ARTICLE II. NON-PROFIT STATUS
This corporation is a NON-STOCK,NON-SHARE,NON-PROFIT CORPORATION and is not organized for private gain of any purpose. It is organized under THE DEPARTMENT
OF THE TREASURY,INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE CATALOG NUMBER 46573C.501 (19)
Veterans Organizations Rules and Regulations.
ARTICLE III. PURPOSE
This corporation is a non-profit mutual benefit corporation organized under the NON -
PROFIT MUTUAL BENEFIT CORPORATION LAW. The purpose of this corporation is to
engage in any lawful act or activity for which a corporation may be organized under
such law. The following purposes are included within the foregoing puropse.
(a) To provide social and recreational activities and to futher promote the interest and
the welfare of the members of this organization.
(b) To carry on programs to perpetuate the memory of the Deceased Veterans and
Members of the U.S. MARINE CORPS and to comfort their survivors.
(c) To HAVE AND TO EXERCISE ANY AND ALL POWERS, RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES
which a corporation under the NON-PROFIT CORPORATION LAW of the state
SOUTH CAOLINA may now or hereafter exercise.
